朝あさの風かぜが、
着物きものの襟えりをそっと揺ゆらす。
新あたらしい一日いちにちが始はじまる。

The morning breeze
gently stirs the collar of a kimono.
A new day quietly begins.

古ふるい宗そうの教おしえは、
人ひとの心こころを静しずかに導みちびく。
知恵ちえは時ときを越こえて生いきる。

Ancient teachings
quietly guide the human heart.
Wisdom lives beyond time.

高たかい山やまを崇あがめ、
自然しぜんの大おおきさを知しる。
謙虚けんきょな心こころが道みちを開ひらく。

Honoring the lofty mountains,
we learn the greatness of nature.
Humility opens the way.

夏なつの祭まつりに、
提灯ちょうちんの灯あかりが揺ゆれる。
笑顔えがおが町まちいっぱいに広ひろがる。

At the summer festival,
lanterns sway in the evening air.
Smiles fill the town.

言葉ことばの向むこうを察さっすれば、
やさしさが自然しぜんに生うまれる。
思おもいやりは静しずかな知恵ちえ。

When we sense
what lies beyond words,
kindness comes naturally.

墨すみを静しずかに擦こすれば、
香かおりとともに心こころが整ととのう。
丁寧ていねいな時ときが美うつくしい。

Grinding the ink slowly,
its fragrance calms the heart.
Unhurried moments are beautiful.

旅たびの由よしを聞きけば、
遠とおい景色けしきが目めに浮うかぶ。
物語ものがたりは人ひとを結むすぶ。

Hearing the reason for a journey,
distant landscapes come to mind.
Stories bring people together.

一本いっぽんの花はなを抽ぬけば、
庭にわの景色けしきが変かわる。
選えらぶことにも美うつくしさがある。

Drawing out a single flower,
the whole garden changes.
There is beauty in choosing.

油あぶらの灯ひが、
静しずかな夜よるを照てらしている。
小ちいさな光ひかりは希望きぼうになる。

An oil lamp
lights the quiet night.
Even a small light becomes hope.

風かぜが袖そでを揺ゆらし、
春はるの香かおりを運はこんでくる。
季節きせつはそっと触ふれてゆく。

The breeze stirs a sleeve,
bringing the fragrance of spring.
The seasons gently brush past us.

鳥とりが宙ちゅうを舞まい、
青空あおぞらはどこまでも広ひろがる。
自由じゆうは心こころにも翼つばさを与あたえる。

A bird dances through the sky,
where blue stretches without end.

遠とおい友ともへ、
手紙てがみが静しずかに届とどく。
思おもいは距離きょりを越こえる。

A letter
quietly reaches a distant friend.
The heart travels farther than distance.

夕暮ゆうぐれの笛ふえが、
山里やまざとに静しずかに響ひびく。
音色ねいろは懐なつかしい風景ふうけいを呼よぶ。

An evening flute
echoes through the mountain village.
Its melody awakens old memories.

掛かけ軸じくを眺ながめれば、
静しずかな一幅いっぷくの世界せかいが広ひろがる。
美うつくしさは余白よはくにも宿やどる。

Looking at a hanging scroll,
a quiet world unfolds.
Beauty lives even in empty space.

甲こうを身みにつけても、
勇気ゆうきは心こころから生うまれる。
強つよさは優やさしさと共ともにある。

Even wearing armor,
courage comes from within.
True strength walks with kindness.

重おもい戸とを押おせば、
新あたらしい景色けしきが広ひろがる。
一歩いっぽが未来みらいを開ひらく。

Push open the heavy door,
and a new view appears.
One step opens the future.

静しずかな岬みさきに、
白しろい波なみが寄よせては返かえる。
海うみは果はてしない物語ものがたり。

At the quiet cape,
white waves come and go.
The sea tells endless stories.

一輪いちりんの花はなを挿させば、
部屋へやが春はるの気配けはいに満みたされる。
小ちいさな彩いろどりが心こころを明あかるくする。

Place a single flower in a vase,
and the room fills with spring.
A little color brightens the heart.

心こころを込こめて申もうせば、
言葉ことばは静しずかに届とどく。
誠実せいじつは声こえに宿やどる。

When spoken sincerely,
words quietly reach another heart.
Sincerity lives within the voice.

竹たけは空そらへ向むかって伸のび、
風かぜにも折おれずに育そだつ。
しなやかさが本当ほんとうの強つよさ。

Bamboo grows toward the sky,
bending with the wind but never breaking.
Flexibility is true strength.
