遠とおく旅たびしても、
帰かえる場所ばしょが心こころを温あたためる。
故郷ふるさとは希望きぼうの灯あかり。

Though we travel far,
a place to return warms the heart.
Home is a light of hope.

夫おっとも妻つまも、
同おなじ空そらを見上みあげて歩あるく。
愛あいは共ともに育そだつ。

Husband and wife
walk beneath the same sky.
Love grows together.

倒たおれそうな人ひとを扶たすければ、
明日あしたは誰だれかがあなたを支ささえる。
思おもいやりは巡めぐる。

When you support one who stumbles,
someone will support you tomorrow.
Compassion comes full circle.

渓谷けいこくを流ながれる水みずは、
岩いわを急いそがず磨みがいてゆく。
忍耐にんたいは力ちから。

The stream through the valley
polishes stone without haste.
Patience is strength.

規則きそくは鎖くさりではなく、
皆みなが安心あんしんして歩あるく道みち。
秩序ちつじょは自由じゆうを支ささえる。

Rules are not chains,
but paths where all may walk in peace.
Order supports freedom.

季節きせつが替かわるたび、
新あたらしい風かぜが心こころを訪おとずれる。
変化へんかは贈おくり物もの。

As the seasons change,
new winds visit the heart.
Change is a gift.

人ひとを賛たたえる言葉ことばは、
花はなに降ふる雨あめのよう。
励はげましは命いのちを育そだてる。

Words of praise
are like rain upon flowers.
Encouragement helps life grow.

水面みなもの下したにも、
静しずかな世界せかいが広ひろがっている。
深ふかさは見みえない。

Beneath the water's surface
lies a quiet world.
Depth is often unseen.

失うしなったものばかり見みず、
残のこされた恵めぐみに目めを向むけよう。
感謝かんしゃは希望きぼうを育そだてる。

Do not look only
at what has been lost.
Gratitude nurtures hope.

鉄てつも火ひを越こえて、
強つよさを得えてゆく。
試練しれんは人ひとを鍛きたえる。

Iron passes through fire
to gain its strength.
Trials shape the soul.

昼ひると夜よるが迭たがいに巡めぐり、
世界せかいは静しずかに息いきを続つづける。
交替こうたいにも調和ちょうわがある。

Day and night take turns,
and the world keeps breathing.
Even change has harmony.

真まことの臣しんは、
力ちからより誠実せいじつを選えらぶ。
忠実ちゅうじつは静しずかな強つよさ。

A true servant
chooses faithfulness over power.
Loyalty is quiet strength.

姫ひめの美うつくしさは、
冠かんむりではなく優やさしさにある。
気品きひんは心こころから輝かがやく。

A princess shines
not by her crown, but by kindness.
Grace comes from within.

古ふるい蔵くらには、
時ときを越こえた物語ものがたりが眠ねむる。
記憶きおくは宝たから。

Within an old storehouse
sleep stories from another age.
Memory is a treasure.

見みえない臓ぞうが、
静しずかに命いのちを支ささえている。
大切たいせつなものは目めに見みえない。

Hidden organs
quietly sustain our lives.
The most important things are often unseen.

賢かしこい人ひとは、
知しることより学まなび続つづけることを喜よろこぶ。
知恵ちえは謙遜けんそんに育そだつ。

The wise rejoice
not in knowing, but in learning.
Wisdom grows through humility.

小ちいさな腎じんも、
黙だまって体からだを守まもっている。
静しずかな働はたらきに感謝かんしゃ。

Even the small kidneys
quietly protect the body.
Be thankful for unseen work.

堅かたい岩いわも、
長ながい歳月さいげつに磨みがかれて美うつくしくなる。
忍耐にんたいは輝かがやきを生うむ。

Even solid rock
is polished by the years.
Patience creates beauty.

新あたらしい朝あさに臨のぞむとき、
恐おそれより希望きぼうを抱いだこう。
一日いちにちは贈おくり物もの。

As you face a new morning,
choose hope over fear.
Each day is a gift.

高たかい丘おかから覧ながめれば、
道みちは一ひとつにつながっていた。
広ひろい視野しやが心こころを豊ゆたかにする。

From the hilltop,
every road becomes one journey.
A broad view enriches the heart.
