木きの槽そうには、
澄すんだ水みずが静しずかに満みちている。
器うつわは恵めぐみを受うけ止とめる。

A wooden vat
is quietly filled with clear water.
A vessel receives life's blessings.

北斗ほくとの星ほしが、
夜空よぞらに静しずかな道みちを示しめす。
光ひかりは旅人たびびとの友とも。

The Big Dipper
points the way across the night sky.
Light is a traveler's friend.

新鮮しんせんな料りょうを選えらべば、
食卓しょくたくに笑顔えがおが集あつまる。
良よい料理りょうりは心こころから始はじまる。

Choose fresh ingredients,
and smiles gather around the table.
Good cooking begins with care.

新あたらしい科かを学まなべば、
世界せかいはさらに広ひろがってゆく。
知識ちしきは終おわりのない旅たび。

Study a new subject,
and the world grows larger.
Knowledge is an endless journey.

古ふるい図ずを広ひろげると、
まだ知しらない道みちが見みえてくる。
地図ちずは夢ゆめへの招待状しょうたいじょう。

Open an old map,
and unseen roads appear.
A map is an invitation to dream.

知恵ちえを用もちいれば、
小ちいさな力ちからも大おおきく育そだつ。
工夫くふうは可能性かのうせいを広ひろげる。

Use wisdom well,
and even small strength will grow.
Ingenuity expands possibility.

庸ようらかな日々ひびにも、
小ちいさな喜よろこびが隠かくれている。
平凡へいぼんは静しずかな宝物たからもの。

Even ordinary days
hide small joys.
The ordinary is a quiet treasure.

冬ふゆに備そなえれば、
心こころにも安心あんしんが生うまれる。
備そなえは明日あしたへの思おもいやり。

Prepare for winter,
and peace settles into the heart.
Preparation is kindness toward tomorrow.

昔むかしの話はなしは、
今いまの心こころにも灯あかりをともす。
物語ものがたりは時ときを越こえる。

Stories from long ago
still light today's heart.

秋あきの森もりには、
赤あかと黄きが美うつくしく錯まじじる。
違ちがいが景色けしきを豊ゆたかにする。

In the autumn forest,
reds and golds blend beautifully.

新あたらしい世界せかいと出会であえる。
学まなびは分わかち合あうもの。

散ちる花はなを惜おしめば、

静しずかに筆ふでを措おけば、
心こころにも余白よはくが生うまれる。
休やすむことも大切たいせつな仕事しごと。

桜さくらは散ちっても、
春はるの思おもい出では残のこる。
美うつくしさは儚はかなさと共ともにある。

廿にじゅうの春はるを迎むかえ、
未来みらいは広ひろく輝かがやいている。
若わかさは希望きぼうの季節きせつ。

Reaching twenty springs,

庶あまねく人々ひとびとの願ねがいが、
町まちの明日あしたを支ささえている。
幸しあわせは皆みなで育そだてるもの。

The hopes of ordinary people
support tomorrow's town.

雲くもが日差ひざしを遮さえぎっても、
空そらの青あおさは消きえない。
希望きぼうは心こころの奥おくにある。

静しずかな雨あめを眺ながめる。
