朝あさの光ひかりが透すき通とおる葉はは、
風かぜとともに輝かがやいている。
澄すんだ心こころは光ひかりを映うつす。

Morning light shines
through translucent leaves.
A clear heart reflects the light.

花はなの香かおりは、
蝶ちょうを静しずかに誘さそう。
優やさしさは力ちからずくではない。

The fragrance of flowers
gently invites the butterfly.
Kindness never forces.

稽古けいこを重かさねるたび、
体からだも心こころも磨みがかれてゆく。
上達じょうたつは毎日まいにちの積つみ重かさね。

With every practice,
body and spirit are refined.
Mastery is built day by day.

穀物こくもつは、
静しずかな大地だいちの贈おくり物もの。
感謝かんしゃは実みのりを豊ゆたかにする。

Grain is
the quiet gift of the earth.
Gratitude enriches every harvest.

見みえない菌きんにも、
自然しぜんの大おおきな働はたらきがある。
小ちいさな命いのちも大切たいせつ。

Even unseen microbes
play a great role in nature.
Every small life matters.

萎しおれた花はなも、
雨あめを受うけて再ふたたび顔かおを上あげる。
希望きぼうは枯かれない。

Even a wilted flower
can lift its face after rain.
Hope never truly withers.

一粒ひとつぶの米こめにも、
多おおくの人ひとの願ねがいが宿やどる。
感謝かんしゃしていただこう。

In every grain of rice
live the hopes of many hands.

粉雪こなゆきは、
音おともなく世界せかいを白しろく染そめる。
静しずけさにも力ちからがある。

Powdery snow

あきらめない心こころが花はなを咲さかせる。

未来みらいの森もりを育そだてる。
小ちいさな始はじまりを信しんじよう。

花はなは粧よそおわなくても、
朝露あさつゆだけで美うつくしい。
自然しぜんの姿すがたは尊とうとい。

morning dew is enough.

星ほしは静しずかに空そらにある。
希望きぼうを見失みうしなわない。

静しずけさは深ふかくなる。
心こころの奥おくにも平和へいわがある。

数かぞえ切きれない星ほしも、
一ひとつずつ夜空よぞらに輝かがやく。
小ちいさな光ひかりが世界せかいを照てらす。

楼たかどのから眺ながめる夕暮ゆうぐれは、
町まちも空そらも静しずかに染そまる。
高たかい場所ばしょは感謝かんしゃを教おしえる。

From the tower at dusk,
town and sky are gently bathed in color.
